Patrick Jolley
Patrick Jolley (1964-2012) is known for his fragmented video, photography and installation that explore issues of despair and hopelessness with a twisted sense of humor. Amanda Coogan

The Irish Times called Coogan "the leading practitioner of performance in the country."

Francis Bacon
Although we often think of Francis Bacon (1909 -1992), master of all things visceral and grotesque, as a British painter, he was in fact born in Dublin. The twisted soul behind such iconic images like the "Screaming Pope" was was born in Dublin at 63 Lower Baggot Street before moving to the UK.
